Why are we using Unisa’s Payment Platform to receive monetary donations for the Fundraiser?

Unisa uses a secure payment gateway platform known as Paygate. This platform can accept payments in multiple currencies and efficiently process payments instantly, immediately after a payment is completed.  Currently, the platform allows individuals who have bank accounts and credit cards to make donations. The platform has integrated Snapscan to serve as an alternative payment method should you have difficulties in making donations through the bank card option. Kindly note that you will receive an automated response acknowledging your donation on behalf of Unisa.

Donations received will be used exclusively to address the needs of the Individual YALI RLC Alumni chapter projects and not for Unisa.

Why don’t I see the currency used by my country reflected in the list of currencies accepted by Paygate?

If your currency is not reflected in the paygate, kindly use USD or any other currency that is a possible substitute for you – (The paygate is officially closed after the Day of Giving event)

How will received monetary donations be used?

Money received by the YALI RLC chapters will be used to address the needs of the Individual YALI RLC Alumni chapter projects.  Any excess money received, will be used to expand on the projects the money was raised for.
